Screen Printing
The origins of screen printing goes back over one thousand years. In the early 1960s the process was greatly developed to reproduce quantities of printed materials, used for many types of advertising. The well-known artist Andy Warhol even created screen printed artwork. The very first Screen Printed t-shirts were for political campaigns and others with Disney characters, and here we are today. The Screen Printing process requires numerous steps, techniques, and skills for success. The variables in Screen Printing are numerous, such as the types of fabrics, blend materials, to the color of the apparel itself. Some applications require different types of inks, different drying times, and temperatures. The Screen Printing inks do not penetrate the fabric itself, but rest on top of the surface. Do not waste your time and money on cheap supplies and inexperienced printers. Risen Ink only does it right.
